Nudhara Yusuf is a global governance specialist focused on UN reform, the role of youth and civil society in multilateral institutions, emerging technologies, and governance for future generations. She is the Executive Coordinator of the Global Governance Innovation Network (GGIN), a network of research institutions working on multilateral reform, and a Research Associate with the Global Governance, Justice and Security Program at the Stimson Center in Washington, D.C. She also serves as Co-Chair of the Coalition for the UN We Need (C4UN), a civil society platform of hundreds of organizations advocating for a stronger, more inclusive United Nations.
In 2024 she was selected by the UN Department of Global Communications as a Co-Chair of the UN Civil Society Conference held in support of the Summit of the Future, and in 2023 she coordinated the Global Futures Forum. She is a lead co-author of the Stimson Center’s Global Governance Innovation Report.
Before joining Stimson, Yusuf worked with the UN Development Programme, including its Sustainable Development Goals Integration Team and the Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific’s Strategic Foresight Unit. She also worked on education and training with the World Federation of United Nations Associations and supported parliamentarians in the United Kingdom and India. She has held fellowships with the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, Princeton University’s Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination, and the United Nations University Centre for Policy Research. She holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from University College London.
