Hannah Fields is a communications and digital content specialist with over ten years of experience working in the nonprofit, global health, and higher education sectors. She serves as Communications Officer at Citizens for Global Solutions (CGS), the United States organization that, with World Federalist Movement – Canada, publishes the journal Mondial. In that role she contributes editorial and communications work, including coverage of United Nations reform and world federalism. For Mondial she has written event coverage of civil society’s role in the UN Summit of the Future and a book review on the theme of abolishing war.
Before joining CGS, Hannah supported organizations such as Mayo Clinic and the American Academy of Political and Social Science with editorial projects, digital content management, and a broad range of communications outreach. Earlier in her career, working in global health, she partnered with Christian Connections for International Health (CCIH) to advance its mission of promoting health and wholeness through capacity building, networking, fellowship, and advocacy.
Hannah also has a background in book publishing. She received her Master of Letters in Publishing Studies from the University of Stirling and has worked with several publishers in the United States and the United Kingdom to create printed and digital products for readers. In 2020 she founded Folkways Press, an independent publisher created to give authors of all backgrounds a platform to address social issues through themes such as mental health and human rights. Her combined expertise spans strategic communications, digital content, editorial management, and independent publishing.
